House Policy

  • G-Clef promotes and practices the responsible consumption of alcohol.
  • Queensland law prohibits the consumption or purchase of alcohol by patrons who are minors, unduly intoxicated or disorderly.
  • If a staff member is of the opinion that a patron is unduly intoxicated or disorderly, the staff member must refuse alcohol service to that person.
  • Patrons deemed to be unduly intoxicated will be refused service, given water if requested.
  • Patrons who are rude or offensive to staff or other patrons will be refused service and requested to leave the premises.
  • Minors may only be on the premises after 9PM if in the care of a responsible guardian.
  • It is a condition of entry that patrons purchasing or consuming alcohol must produce photo ID showing proof of age otherwise service of alcohol will be refused.
  • As condition of entry, patrons must be wearing enclosed footwear, shirts and trousers, and may be refused entry if wet and sandy.
  • Any person in charge of the premises may ask anyone to leave the premises no matter the condition.
  • Each karaoke room has a “MAXIMUM CAPACITY LIMIT”, which must be abided by for safety reasons.
  • Due to limited space inside the premises, staff may ask patrons to wait outside while their room is prepared.
